Within the official visit of the Chairman of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping to the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Astana International Financial Centre and the Chinese company «Zhejiang “Jumore” "E-Commerce Co. Ltd» announced the official launch of the AIFC Pavilion on “Jumore” platform.
The goal of the Pavilion – to introduce investors and potential AIFC members the purpose of involving and participation in the development of strategic directions of the financial centre. The Pavilion will contain full information on the activities, priority goals and objectives, financial services and tools provided by the AIFC.
"Jumore" E-commerce facilitates the deepening of economic exchange between Kazakhstan and China, the creation of a cross-border electronic trading platform in Kazakhstan, which will help organize all types of industrial production, goods, technologies and services in a single system, as well as develop the stock market in Kazakhstan by attracting direct investments in the projects of the "the Silk Road Economic Belt" initiative within the framework of the previously signed Memorandum of Cooperation.
In the near future, «Zhejiang “Jumore” E-commerce Co. Ltd» intends to connect Kazakhstani projects to "Jumore" E-commerce platform. It will contribute to the implementation of the tasks outlined in the Cooperation Plan on the New Economic Policy "Nurly Zhol" and the construction of "the Silk Road Economic Belt" between the governments of Kazakhstan and the People's Republic of China.

AIFC. In December 2015 President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev signed the Constitutional law “On the Astana International Financial Centre” (AIFC). The aim of the AIFC is to form a leading international centre of financial services. For the first time in the post-Soviet region, Common law framework will be introduced in the AIFC. English shall be the official language of the AIFC.
The objectives of the AIFC are to attract investment into the economy through the establishment of an attractive environment for investment in the financial services, to develop local capital markets, ensuring their integration with the international capital markets, and to develop markets for insurance and banking services and for Islamic financing in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
