AIFC and Kaspi.kz are teaming up to train IT professionals

Astana International Financial Centre and Kaspi.kz signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of education of IT specialists at the Digital Almaty Forum, held on February 5, 2021. The memorandum was signed by AIFC Governor Kairat Kelimbetov and Co-founder and head of Kaspi.kz Mikhail Lomtadze.

The initiative is aimed at the further development of the national and regional markets of FinTech, E-commerce and The Internet of things. Cooperation will in particular focus on training of software engineers, web developers, data specialists and architects of IT ecosystems. Training will be provided also through the automated cloud platform QWANT School of Advanced Technologies.

 Yernur Rysmagambetov, CEO of AIFC Authority: “The Government and the market are in urgent need of qualified specialists in IT and related industries. The implementation of major reforms and a high-quality digital reboot, including the creation of the Data Driven Government, will not be possible without the consistent training of experts in the field of innovative technologies. We should provide all possible assistance to this process ”.

 The Astana International Financial Center was created by the initiative of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Leader of the Nation, Nur-Sultan Nazarbayev as part of the “100 steps to implement five institutional reforms” national program.
