In continuation of collaboration with world named partners and best legal experts in the sphere of environmental law, on August 26,2021, AIFC Green Finance Centre (hereinafter - the Centre) has concluded a memorandum of understanding with “PricewaterhouseCoopers Tax & Advisory”. Parties agreed that the Centre will serve as a legal hub for potential clients seeking for advice in environmental law and that both companies will be promoting each brand on regional and international level.

In addition, the signed Memorandum will allow the Parties to carry out joint activities on organization of academic, educational and promotional events on regulation of green finance, social finance, sustainable development and other related spheres.

The Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) was created by the initiative of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Leader of the Nation, Nur-Sultan Nazarbayev as part of the “100 steps to implement five institutional reforms” national program. The Management council of the AIFC during the council’s meeting on July 2, 2020 approved the Centre’s development strategy until 2025. The main goal is to bring investments to sustainable economy through trending financial instruments, such as green and social bonds.
