The AIFC Authority and the Law Society of Hong Kong signed an agreement. 

The agreement was signed by Mr Nurzhan Kosbayev, the Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of the AIFC Authority and Mr. C.M. Chan, the President of the Law Society of Hong Kong.

The signing ceremony was attended by Simon Cox, Chairman of the AIFC Legal Services Board, representatives of the AIFC Authority, as well as Mr. Amirali B. Nasir, Mr. Christopher K.K. Yu, Roden Tong, the Vice-Presidents, and Ms. Heidi Chu, Secretary-General.

Under the agreement, the parties decided to exchange information and experience in the regulation of the legal services and to conduct joint educational programs and internships for lawyers at the AIFC Academy of Law and the Hong Kong Academy of Law.
