On May 28, the AIFC Academy of Law held a Graduation Ceremony for students who successfully completed courses in English Common Law under the Joint Minor programme organised in partnership with M.S. Narikbayev KAZGUU University.

The ceremony featured speeches from the Chairman of the Management Board Yernur Rysmagambetov, Provost (Rector) of M. Narikbayev KAZGUU University Sergey Pen, member of the AIFC Academic Council Bakytzhan Abdiraiym.

The purpose of the Joint Minor Programme in English Common Law was to familiarize students with the basics of English law, including ethics, professional responsibility, and issues of corporate governance, corporate finance and transaction structuring, which are in high demand among legal professionals and required in the labour market.

During the event, the students of the KAZGUU University had a chance to familiarize themselves with the AIFC bodies and its activities.
