Yesterday, the Chairman of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Civil Service Affairs and Anti-Corruption Alik Shpekbayev met with the Ambassador of the Republic of India Prabkat Kumar. During the meeting, the chairman of the Agency reported on the possibilities of doing business in Kazakhstan. At the same time, he stressed the importance of the AIFC acting on the basis of English law.
“Our doors for investors and business partners are always open. That is why we will use all available resources to protect business representatives and investors from bureaucracy and illegal activities against their activities” said Shpekbayev.
Similarly, the Kazakh ambassador to Canada, Akylbek Kamaldinov, also met with business representatives from British Columbia, the western part of the country. The meeting was attended by the Speaker of the Legislative Center of British Columbia Daryl Plechas, Minister of Labor, Trade and Technology Bruce Ralston.
The Kazakh diplomat, in turn, stressed the importance of mutually beneficial cooperation of Kazakhstan within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union, the European Union and the Belt and Road Initiative.
“Canadian businessmen and experts got acquainted with the activities of the AIFC, the privatization of state assets and the national investment strategy of Kazakhstan. I am sure that the cooperation between two countries will develop further” the ambassador said.
