On August 18, as part of the Harvard College Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR) International Conference, inspiring world leaders, eminent scientists and politicians will provide open lectures “HPAIR Talks” at the BCPD platform.

Within the framework of the event, world leaders in education, economics, politics, culture, communications, as well as other spheres will share their knowledge and insights received from life and professional experience.

HPAIR Talks is designed to inspire listeners to continuous professional development and engage the audience in an open expert discussion to exchange knowledge and experience in the fields of art, media, culture, energy and environmental sustainability, geopolitics, economics, social policy, justice and technology.

We want to remind you that the AIFC is an official partner of the HPAIR Asia Conference 2019 and on August 19, the Impact Challenge case championship will be held at the site of the Bureau for Continuing Professional  Development.

Among HPAIR Talks speakers:
Jonathan Woetzel - Senior Partner at McKinsey; Director at McKinsey Global Institute, author of studies on global economic trends in China and Asia.
As an expert on energy, sustainability, and economic master planning, Jonathan has advised national and local governments in Asia, Africa, Europe and the Americas on topics including improving the foreign investment environment, energy policy, and economic development. He has conducted more than 60 projects for local governments throughout China to support economic development and transformation.

Crystal Lim Lange - founder of Forest Wolf, a global educational consulting company, also a strategic advisor to the Minerva Project, one of the most innovative universities in the world.
Crystal will perform with a spouse - Dr. Gregor Lim-Lange - an expert in clinical and positive psychology, social emotional intelligence and awareness, co-founder and chief psychologist Forest Wolf. In their lecture, they will be speaking about the topic  “Disruption-proof yourself with Deep Human Superskills”.

Wang Wen - Executive Dean at Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies, Renmin University of China, the winner of the 2011 China New Awards. As a leader in public opinion, he wrote the book Phantom of Powers and hundreds of media columns.He has authored, co-authored, translated and contributed to more than 30 books, in which “The Think Tank Perspective of Wang Wen" series published by the People's Publishing House including: "A Promising China: Chinese Think Tank’s Voice in the World", "Think as a Tank: How China Influences the World", and "America's Anxiety: A Think Tank Scholar's Perspective on China’s Rise & U.S. Response".
The topic of  Dr. Wang on HPAIR Talks open lectures will be “Global Flow of Chinese Capital: Opportunities and Challenges”

Moon Kim - PhD candidate at Pardee RAND, an assistant policy researcher at RAND, experienced in research and analysis on the Restore-L space service satellite at NASA.
Kim has an M.A. in international science and technology policy from the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University and a B.S. in finance and economics from the University of Maryland, College Park. He will share his experience and knowledge from years of working in the best organizations in 3 distinctively different industries and talk about his professional insights.

Vita Spivak - Expert at Russian Council on Foreign Affairs, former coordinator of the Russia in the Asia-Pacific Region program at the Carnegie Moscow Center.
Her research interests include China's investment in the energy sector of other countries, the anti-corruption campaign in China, and the launch of the “One Belt - One Way” initiative. Ms. Spivak will present the topic “China’s foreign direct investments into energy projects with a focus on Russia and Central Asia in relation to Beijing’s economic policy priorities”.

Alyona Tkachenko is a co-founder and CEO of Nommi, Forbes Asia 30U30.
Alyona was on Forbes Asia's “30 under 30” list, her company's Nommi product will soon be sold on Amazon.
In the framework of HPAIR Talks, Alyona Tkachenko will present the topic “Launching your company abroad: lessons learned and countries specifics”.
