Education
In 1995, Mr. Yessekeyev graduated from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University with a degree in applied mathematics as a Candidate of Mathematical Sciences. In 2002, he graduated the Kazakh State Academy of Management with a degree in management. In 2017, he got an Executive MBA degree in finance at Hult Business School in London.
Work experience
Mr. Yessekeyev has held various positions in the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, NC Kazakhoil JSC as well as NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC.
From 2002 to 2004 Mr. Yessekeyev held the positions of Director of Informatization and Innovations Department of the RoK Ministry of Economy and Budget Planning and Director of the Information Technologies Department of the RoK Ministry of Finance. In 2004, he joined the RoK Informatization and Communication Agency and was appointed Chairman in 2007.
In 2010, Mr. Yessekeyev was appointed the Chairman of the Management Board of Kazakhtelecom JSC.
