The Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) provides unique legal and regulatory framework which is based on international standards and principles of laws of England and Wales that is tailored to the region’s unique needs, creating the optimal environment for financial services and related industries and services to grow.

AIFC was established pursuant to the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Constitutional Statute on the AIFC dated 7 December 2015, as the territory within the city of Astana with precise borders determined by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan where the special legal regime in the financial sphere is established with its own civil and commercial laws.
