A panel session on current issues of protecting the rights of entrepreneurs was held within the Astana Finance Days

Under the auspices of the Astana Finance Days a panel session on “Current issues of protecting the rights of entrepreneurs” was held as part of the AIFC Law Conference.

The session was moderated by Professor Igor Rogov (Chairman of the Human Rights Commission under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, member of the Venice Commission).

At the panel session as speakers took part Mr Raimbek Batalov (Chairman of the Presidium – Acting Chairman of the Management Board of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs “Atameken”), Ms Alma Mukanova (Vice-Minister of Justice), Mr Rustam Zhursunov (Ombudsman for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan), Ms Zere Utebayeva (Head of the National Center for Human Rights), Mr Aidyn Bikebaev (Chairman of the National Bar Association).

The session participants discussed the legal mechanisms for protecting the rights of entrepreneurs, state support measures for business, reduction of administrative barriers in the new stage of economic development of Kazakhstan, as well as other pressing issues.
