AIFC expands its Investment Tax Residency Programme
In addition to the existing option to invest in securities traded on the AIFC Exchange (AIX), the Investment Tax Residency Programme now officially launches a second investment instrument – investments in the share capital of companies registered in the AIFC. Migration services support is provided through the AIFC Expat Centre.
As of today, there are more than 80 investment migration programmes worldwide, serving as an important tool for attracting foreign investment, stimulating economic growth, and enhancing a country’s position in the global market. AIFC Investment Tax Residency Programme is designed to create favourable conditions for international investors, contributing to the development of the national economy and the inflow of high-quality capital.
What investors receive:
- Investor visa (for up to 5 years) or residence permit in Kazakhstan
- Tax residency status with exemption from taxation on foreign-sourced income granted under simplified conditions
Investment thresholds:
- From USD 60,000 – 5-year investor visa
- From USD 300,000 – residence permit
