AIFC Expat Centre and Air Astana Sign Memorandum of Cooperation at Astana Finance Days 2025
The Expat Centre of the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) and JSC Air Astana have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on the sidelines of the Astana Finance Days 2025 forum. The agreement establishes cooperation to promote the AIFC Expat Centre Loyalty Programme, aimed at creating comfortable conditions for the entry, adaptation, and residence of foreign nationals in Kazakhstan, including investors, international experts, and AIFC participants.
Participants in the programme are granted access to a wide range of services and premium benefits from the Expat Centre’s partners, including offers from educational, medical and insurance institutions, real estate agencies, as well as companies providing other key services.
The memorandum was signed by Baurzhan Kankin, Chief Client Officer of the AIFC Authority, and Ibrahim Canliel, Chief Financial Officer of Air Astana.
During the signing ceremony, both parties emphasised the importance of the agreement. Baurzhan Kankin stated: “We highly value our cooperation with Air Astana and are confident that, as one of our key partners in logistics and air transport, the company plays an important role – for many, it is their first point of contact with our country. Developing this initiative is essential to our efforts to create a comfortable and welcoming environment for foreign investors participating in the AIFC in Kazakhstan”.
In turn, Ibrahim Canliel added: “Air Astana is committed to developing cooperation on the AIFC platform in order to create favourable conditions for foreign investors, experts, and AIFC participants, with the aim of attracting investment into Kazakhstan”.
