Specialists of the Astana International Financial Centre today met with students of the State University in Kostanai named after A. Baiturnynov and presented the activities of the AIFC. The meeting discussed the conditions of doing business in the AIFC, discussed the prospects for the use of Islamic and green finance in the modern world.

It is worth noting that representatives of the AIFC began their visit to the regions within the framework of the World Investor Week (WIW). Earlier, representatives of AIFC visited major cities of Kazakhstan - Almaty, Atyrau, Shymkent.

Specialists from the AIFC explained to students of the Kostanay region why it is profitable to implement their business in the AIFC. “Students are the future of our country. After graduating from high school, they work in a corporation, some of them start their own businesses and seek to make commercial profit on their own. Probably, among them may be investors, who will invest in companies and stocks. Therefore, we want to clarify the rights of these future investors, ”notes the Managing Director for Financial Technologies of the Astana Financial Services Authority.

At the next meeting, Aynur Kydyrbaeva, an expert at the Department for Registration and Licensing of the Astana Financial Services Authority, explained how to register at the AIFC. “To register at the AIFC, the company must be registered as a legal entity. There are several ways to create a company. You can open a new legal entity or a branch of an existing organization” the expert noted.

He also spoke about the registration at the AIFC and the opportunities provided to domestic and foreign companies. “We have a special legal system to protect the rights of investors. Similarly, foreign investors received some visa and tax benefits. All this creates a business environment in the country and opens the way for young entrepreneurs to develop their own business, ”said Assel Nurakhmetova - Head of the AIFC Green Finance Center.

During the meeting, the AIFC experts answered numerous questions from students. It should be noted that the same meeting was held with the regional business community. During this meeting, representatives of local businesses were informed about the role and contribution of the AIFC in business development in the regions. The overall goal of the event is to increase the investment and financial literacy of the population of the region.
