AIFC Participant “Bank4Me” launches its fundraising campaign on the VentureRocket Eurasia platform
The Kazakhstan-based fintech startup, “Bank4Me”, has successfully started raising funds on the startup co-investment platform, VentureRocket Eurasia.
Bank4Me (www.bank4.me) is an online banking platform that enables clients to receive an installment plan or a loan from any device with Internet access. The solution solves the problems of both banks, merchants, and clients by combining a wide range of installments of many Central Asian banks in one service, which is connected to the maximum number of retailers.
“We have already become a reliable hub for local banks and BNPL-service providers, through which they can cost-effectively attract and smoothly interact with clients. Thus, we see great potential for our solution not only in Central Asia but also in the fast-growing markets of Southeast Asia and North Africa”, – said Andrey Antropov, the CEO of Bank4Me.
As a part of the Kazakhstan Digital Acceleration Program (KDA), Bank4Me has received its first investment in the amount of $50K from Quest Ventures (www.questventures.com) – a Central Asian leading venture capital firm investing in promising regional startups from fintech, AI, e-commerce, entertainment, food, logistics, the Islamic digital economics.
“Bank4me is an excellent example of technology transfer through our KDA program. The startup founder’s home market was Belarus, and after successfully passing the KDA program and receiving initial pre-seed investments, they decided to move the team and incorporate the holding company in AIFC. We are glad that the KDA alumni is growing, getting to the next stage of development, and starting a new fundraising campaign through the VentureRocket Eurasia platform which is a good signal for the Central Asian startup ecosystem”, – said Ruslan Rakymbay, the Investment Director of Quest Ventures.
This is the first time Bank4Me is raising capital on VentureRocket Eurasia that is currently the first co-investment platform in Central Asia that enables accredited professional investors to invest in vetted promising tech startups in a fully regulated environment.
“At VentureRocket Eurasia, we are on a mission to attract more investment opportunities to the region by creating favorable conditions for secure co-investing. Since the platform’s launch in 2021, we have already reviewed over 100 startups and registered almost 60% on VentureRocket Eurasia. We believe, our platform is a great tool for developing the VC market in whole Central Asian region and will bring much value to the growth of the regional startup ecosystem”, – shared Arslan Kudiyar, the CEO at VentureRocket Eurasia.
The fundraising campaign will last till the end of 2022. The current investment round (up to $500K) will be spent on the active development of the product to deliver a better experience in the South-Eastern Asian market.
