The AIFC Green Finance Centre has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Technology company “Acash Systems”
The AIFC Green Finance Centre Ltd. has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Technology firm “Acash Systems”, within the framework of which cooperation has been established on the development and release of a “green” cryptocurrency based on “green” technologies.
The Memorandum provides for joint measures to attract green investments to finance the construction of a solar power station in the Turkestan region, the generated electricity of which will be used for the production of “green” cryptocurrency. “Green” tokens should become an alternative to energy-intensive bitcoin.
As you know, for mining cryptocurrencies, fuel is increasingly used, especially coal, which emits more than any other fuel. Thanks to the development of the renewable energy market, crypto farms will be able to mine and transfer cryptocurrencies using “green” energy, which will lead to a direct opportunity to reduce the carbon footprint on the environment.
