The members of the Legal Advisory Council of the AIFC met with the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan
Today, members of the Legal Advisory Council (Advisory Council) of the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) along with the First Deputy Chairman of the AIFC Administration Board Marat Aitenov met with the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan Marat Beketaev and other representatives of the Ministry of Justice.
The agenda was devoted to the presentation of the current regulatory regime of the legal industry in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Advisory Council was established to ensure that the AIFC legal community complies with international best practices and develops the AIFC legal services market, including by increasing its credibility. The objectives of the Advisory Board include an assessment of the rationale and evidence for regulating legal service providers registered with the AIFC and identifying the most appropriate regulatory methods and structure to achieve the stated goals of the AIFC.
