Education
In 2001, Mr. Yussupov graduated from Middle East Technical University with a degree in Economics and Management. In 2007, he graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science with a master’s degree in economic development management, and in 2015 from Harvard University with a master’s degree in public administration.
Work experience
Mr. Yussupov has held various positions at the Turkuaz Group of Companies, Demir Kazakhstan Bank JSC, Samruk-Kazyna Sovereign Wealth Fund JSC, as well as the RoK Ministry of Economy and Budget Planning.
In 2010, Mr. Yussupov joined NAC Kazatomprom JSC as Corporate Finance and Treasury Director, and in 2015, he was appointed to the position of Chief Financial Officer of NAC Kazatomprom JSC.
From 2020 to 2021, he held the position of the RoK Vice Minister of National Economy, and from March 2021 to October 2023, he held the position of the Chief Executive Officer of NC Kazakh Invest JSC.
On October 2, 2023, he was appointed the Chairman of the Management Board of NAC Kazatomprom JSC.
