About Platform
AIFC Creative Industries Platform serves as a specialized platform for attracting private capital into the creative economy by providing legal, institutional, and financial infrastructure for creative businesses. It provides a transparent and investor-friendly environment for the growth of creative industries across Kazakhstan and Central Asia.
AIFC does not provide direct financing; however, it creates a comprehensive ecosystem aimed at reducing investment risks and facilitating the entry of private capital into the creative economy.

Currently, work is underway to introduce an innovative mechanism for the region: the use of intellectual property (IP) as collateral. This initiative is aimed at addressing the barrier faced by creative businesses due to the lack of tangible assets.
The AIFC is developing standardized contract templates under which exclusive rights to content or technologies may serve as solid collateral. The AIFC infrastructure enables the registration of encumbrances over IP assets, thereby increasing the confidence of lenders and private investors.
