Venture Studios at AIFC
The AIFC has recently launched Venture Studio Rules, opening up fresh opportunities for companies to develop, test, and scale innovative ideas.🔥
With these new rules, companies can now set up venture studios at AIFC and take projects from the idea stage all the way to a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) without setting up a legal entity. Venture studios allow companies to turn concepts into MVPs, while the venture studio team handles validation, market testing, and finding the right entrepreneurs to take these ideas further.
A venture studio can support up to 20 ventures and launch up to 10 venture companies. This fast-tracked model allows startups to develop twice as fast as traditional methods, with access to key resources like funding and expertise.
🔎 To register a venture studio, you’ll need to apply with a Qualifying Applicant Form to the Commissioner for Innovation. The Commissioner will validate your experience and resources, and once approved, the form will be forwarded to the Registrar of Companies (AFSA) to finalize your studio’s registration.
