AIFC will cooperate with Amazon Web Services in the development of the financial technologies

The Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) will cooperate with Amazon Web Services (AWS) within the framework of the development of the Fintech ecosystem and the maintenance of innovative start-up projects in Kazakhstan. All start-up projects selected by the AIFC will receive a unique opportunity to participate in the AWS Activate program. This program supports young companies, providing them with free access to cloud resources.

Start-ups will also be able to use the AWS services and technological infrastructure necessary for business development. They can build sophisticated and intelligence applications with any framework, collect and process big amount of data very quickly, protect sensitive data and securely connect applications to the cloud.  Dropbox, Pinterest, Spotify, Airbnb, Lyft and Slack are some of the world’s hottest start-up projects that use AWS capacity to ensure rapid growth of their business.

AIFC: In December 2015 President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev signed the Constitutional law “On the Astana International Financial Centre” (AIFC). The aim of the AIFC is to form a leading international centre of financial services. For the first time in post-Soviet region Common law framework will be introduced in the AIFC. English shall be the official language of the AIFC.
