Tech Hub Ltd. and ōzen X Sign Framework Agreement to Launch Music Tokens

On 10 September 2026, during the 9th Astana Finance Days 2026: Delivering Impact. Capital in Action, Tech Hub Ltd. and the private company ōzen, which is developing the ōzen X platform, signed a framework cooperation agreement.

The agreement marks the beginning of a long-term partnership aimed at developing a music royalty tokenisation platform in Kazakhstan and Central Asia.

ōzen X is set to become the first music platform in Kazakhstan and Central Asia to issue music tokens backed by its own catalogue of 7,000 tracks. The platform’s tokenisation activities are expected to be carried out within the jurisdiction of the Astana International Financial Centre in accordance with the applicable procedures.

The project is designed to establish a new model of interaction between artists and audiences. The tokenisation of music royalties will enable performers to raise capital against future income from their works, while giving users access to digital instruments linked to revenues generated by music assets.

ōzen X is expected to bring together music distribution, primary royalty payment data and token issuance within a single platform.

“Music is a digital asset that generates daily income and is accessible to a wide audience. Our team has been developing music distribution services for many years, and with ōzen X we are now introducing a new approach: artists gain access to capital today, while listeners have an opportunity to participate in the income generated by the compositions they support. We are starting in Kazakhstan because we have our own music catalogue, while the AIFC ecosystem provides an enabling environment for the development of digital asset projects,” noted Aizatulla Hussein, Founder of ōzen X.

Cooperation with ōzen X represents an important area of Tech Hub Ltd.’s work to develop tokenisation infrastructure.

“It is essential for us that the project is underpinned by real data: each track will be valued based on actual royalty payments, and its revenue history may be made available to investors before they acquire a token. Music will become the next area in which we apply our expertise in real-world asset tokenisation. In this case, technology does not replace the industry; it provides the industry with a transparent, regulated and accessible instrument,” emphasised Kuanysh Dairbekov, Chief Executive Officer of AIFC Tech Hub.

The joint project by Tech Hub Ltd. and ōzen X is expected to combine the development of digital assets with the creation of new sources of financing for the creative industries. The initiative will broaden access to capital for authors and performers, enhance the transparency of music revenue accounting, and introduce new formats for audience participation in the digital content economy.
