October 29 Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev discussed prospects for investment cooperation with representatives of JP Morgan Chase writes primeminister.kz.
Bakytzhan Sagintayev held a meeting with representatives of JP Morgan Chase International led by Chairman of the Board Jacob Frenkel.
At the meeting, issues of further cooperation in the field of investment development were considered. Also, the participation of the company in the privatization program, including in the framework of the Astana International Financial Center and the launch of national companies in an IPO at the AIFC Exchange site were discussed.
Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) is a financial hub for Central Asia, the Caucasus, EAEU, the Middle East, West China, Mongolia and Europe. The Centre will be situated within EXPO-2017 and supported by modern infrastructure & the latest technology.
JP Morgan Chase is one of the oldest financial conglomerates on the planet and the leader in the field of investment and commercial banking services. It was founded in 1799. The headquarters is located in New York, the offices around the world employ more than 260,000 people.
AIFC Exchange (Astana International Exchange, AIX) – a separate legal entity that is not part of the AIFC bodies structure. Strategic partners of AIFC Exchange are global leaders of the exchange industry – Shanghai Stock Exchange and Nasdaq exchange group. It is also planned to connect the AIX to the Bloomberg Terminal, whose clients are around 2500 brokers.
