Fintech Hub of the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) participated in Startup Nation, a startup festival held in Bangkok. The National Innovation Agency of Thailand was the organizer of the event. 
Event includes large scale conferences and exhibitions featuring startup development in wide range of areas and it is the largest event of its kind in ASEAN. In general, more than 60,000 visitors and more than 400 participating startups attended the festival.
Three startups under the delegation of the Fintech Hub were invited to feature at the International startup pavilion. All three startups were the finalists of the Visa Everywhere Initiative, a global Visa program to support Fintech startups, which was held this year for the first time in Central Asia in partnership with AIFC.

Rakhmet App (VISA Everywhere Initiative finalist)  represents ChocoFamily, the biggest e-commerce holding in Central Asia region with $150M in gross-billings in 2018 and impressive 12,4% share of all e-commerce market in Kazakhstan. They are leading fintech, health-tech company with 1 800 merchants, 35 000 active customers.

Earlier, in May 2019 representatives of the National Innovation Agency of Thailand visited the AIFC Fintech Hub to discuss potential cooperation to develop fintech ecosystem between Kazakhstan and Thailand.
