Development Bank of Kazakhstan Lists Dim Sum Bonds on AIX
Astana International Exchange (“AIX” or “the Exchange”) is pleased to announce the listing of two tranches of Dim Sum bonds issued by JSC Development Bank of Kazakhstan (“DBK”), with maturities of five and ten years.
The bonds were issued at a final coupon rate of 2.25% for the five-year tranche and 2.75% for the ten-year tranche, with a total issue size of CNY 3.7 bn, highlighting strong investor interest in CNY-denominated securities issued by a leading Kazakh development institution.
Assel Mukazhanova, AIX CEO, said:
“The listing of Development Bank of Kazakhstan’s Dim Sum bonds on AIX is an important milestone in expanding access to CNY-denominated financing and investment opportunities through our market. The strong investor interest in the offering demonstrates the growing potential for deeper connectivity between Kazakhstan and China’s capital markets. We are pleased to support DBK in broadening its international investor base and to further develop AIX as a platform connecting issuers and investors across markets.”
The addition of DBK’s Dim Sum bonds further diversifies the range of CNY-denominated instruments available on AIX, providing investors with broader access to Kazakhstan’s capital market.
