Astana International Financial Centre and Oliver Wyman agreed to develop the AIFC Exchange
The Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) and the Oliver Wyman Company signed a Memorandum of Understanding. Within the framework of the document, the Parties agreed to develop the Astana International Exchange (AIX) and the capital market in the Republic of Kazakhstan as a whole.
The parties expressed their readiness to interact in matters of a technical nature, as well as to exchange experience and information.
According to the Memorandum, Oliver Wyman intends to consult the Astana International Financial Centre in carrying out planned activities for the development the capital market. Oliver Wyman expressed readiness to share their knowledge, experience and expertise in building the infrastructure of the securities market, and create a database of world investors based on internationally recognized standards and best practices.
